An afternoon of competitive whippet racing in a fun, social and family friendly environment.

The Whippet Racing Club of Victoria (WRCV) started as hound racing in the early 1970's. The WRCV has been at its present home at the Tooradin Trial track since the 1990's.

WRCV is the only competitive racing club for whippets in Victoria, with each race timed and dogs able to build up their championship points. Awards are given at the end of the season.

Even if your whippet just wants to run for fun, and burn off some energy, you are more than welcome to join in. Free trials are held on your first race meet.

Race meets are held monthly from March-November and all whippets are welcome to join in the family friendly, relaxed and social atmosphere.
